Haywood Park Farm is both a grand Manor house and family farm of interesting historic value, set in 120 acres on Cannock Chase, an area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Part of the Shugborough Estate, Shugborough Hall being the ancestral home of the late Lord Patrick Lichfield.
This is a magnificent country retreat, an ideal place to relax and enjoy the magical peace and tranquility of the best of the British Countryside,in Staffordshire for short breaks or longer holiday.
The bedrooms are large and beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds, spring water, fresh flowers, fruit and shortbread all you would expect from farm holidays.
Relax in sparkling opulent bathrooms with large fluffy towels. A large pretty sitting room, with wonderful views and cosy armchairs. After a day out or a good walk on Cannock Chase, sit in the warm lounge with a pile of books and magazines, all yours to relax in.
Our farmhouse breakfasts are feasts of local bacon, sausage & free range eggs. and home-made jams and marmalade which all helps make us an ideal place to stay when visiting Stafford in Staffordshire or Shugborough Hall.
For Walkers, Ramblers, Mountain Bikers there is direct access onto Cannock Chase ideal for rambling, walking and mountain biking we can supply you with the most up to date mountain bikes for you to explore further.
Visiting Bird watchers can find many species close to the farm as well as badgers and foxes.
We have an area of land where the wild deer of Cannock Chase graze each day, mainly because we encourage them with food! See them quietly grazing for most of the day along with the beautiful fields and flowers.
We are a soft fruit farm in the summer with exceptional strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, tayberries, rhubarb, red and blackcurrants either PYO or ready picked. Visit our small tearoom for summer refreshments and we grow beautiful country flowers, larkspur, cornflowers, sunflowers, pinks and many more Take a look at the Summer Activities. We also have a carefully bred flock of sheep and the very best traditionally reared turkeys at Christmas.
Trentham gardens and the Monkey Forest, Wedgwood are places to visit when you stay at this farm holiday bed and breakfast for more attractions visit our interests page.
