Summer a busy season.
The Hay is cut when a run of fine days are promised. It is turned at least once a day to help it dry.
The first of the cut flowers are picked for sale and fruit picking begins. The farm shop and tea room is opened, selling farm produce, plants, flowers and serving home made cakes, farm fruit and coffee or tea.
Autumn.
All the crops are in and the fruit season finished. Now is the time to get many jobs done, fencing, barn repairs and soon the ewes will be mixed with the Rams to ensure Spring lambing.
