Cannock Chase can be accessed easily for walking, rambling and mountain biking.

Shugborough Hall   There are many events held at Shugborough during the year, from outdoor musical extravaganzas and magnificent firework displays to smaller fun events at Shugborough’s farm.  Balloon flights go up regularly from the grounds - just ask and we can arrange it for you. Shugborough Shooting School  is half a mile away.  Clay pigeon shooting can be arranged.

Many other National Trust properties a short drive away. Mosley Old Hall, Sudbury Hall, Whitwick Manor, Little Moreton Hall to name a few.

Lichfield Cathedral and the historic city is always worth a visit.

Wedgwood museum at Barlaston is less than 20mins by car.  Stoke-on-Trent and the world famous pottery industry is within easy reach.

Many craft centres are close to the farm also antique stores and markets.

Stafford has excellent shops.

For the more adventurous Alton Towers is a must for a day out.

Or relax at Hoar Cross Hall health spa..  About five minutes away is a qualified Aromatherapist and Reflexologist if you tire yourself too much on Cannock Chase!

Theatre goers will find plenty of good theatres. The  New Vic theatre at Newcastle and the Regent Theatre at Stoke on Trent. The Garrick at Lichfield, Pipe Ridware a small country theatre and others at Stafford and Cannock.

The area has many good pubs and restaurants to suit all pockets.

Cannock war memorial burial ground is only a few miles away from the farm. The German Cemetery and Commonwealth War Graves along with the Katyn Memorial can all be reached on foot or by car from  Haywood Park Farm.
