Recently we have lost a family friend to leukaemia. John Lyons was a frequent visitor to the farm and neighbour for several years. After his death a forget me not fund was set up to honour Johns life, and as a memorial we plan to raise money for the charity in his name.

The Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust provides respite for children with life threatening conditions and support for the whole family at the hospice and in their own home. It is dependent on donations and with the current recession is struggling to raise funds. We have decided to support this charity based at Trentham and hope to raise as much as we can to support this vital community service.
